The Lost Girls, Bloggers

In 2006, The Lost Girls–Amanda Pressner, Jennifer Baggett and Holly Corbett–left their jobs, boyfriends, apartments and everything familiar behind in New York City to embark on a year-long search for adventure and inspiration. Journeying across four continents and more than a dozen countries, they shared their experiences with other aspiring vagabonds on their website, LostGirlsWorld.com. Shortly after completing their 60,000 mile lap around the globe, The Lost Girls signed on with HarperCollins to turn their tales into a travel memoir–The Lost Girls: Three Friends. Four Continents. One Unconventional Detour Around the Globe–which hit shelves in May 2010. Currently, all three Lost Girls reside in New York, where between working on their second book and turning their website into an online travel magazine, they still find the time to take trips as a trio.

Brook Silva-Braga, Filmmaker

Brook Silva-Braga is an award-winning documentary filmmaker. He left HBO to travel the world and make “A Map for Saturday,” a film exploring the subculture of long-term travel. He is currently shooting and editing his third documentary feature. (www.brooksilvabraga.com)

Brock Fetch, Photographer

After growing up in the thriving metropolis of Centralia, Washington, Brock Fetch decided he needed to get out and see the world. He moved to Beaver Creek, Colorado where he managed a snowboard shop, worked as a trainer at a gym, and discovered photography. Starting out, he photographed his friends and local skateboarders, and quickly discovered that it was people in there natural environment that he wanted to capture. Living in colorado afforded him the opportunity to travel all over the US and Europe. Throughout this time period he posted most pictures to his website, which later turned into a blog, The Darrell Diaries (www.thedarrelldiaries.com) .Today, Brock lives in Brooklyn, NY, and works with many NY based bands. He has also just returned from the Northwest, where he was on tour with some of the Vans skateboard team members. Moving forward, Brock plans to continue traveling and taking more and more pictures.

The Making of San Bernandino, Musicians

'The Making of San Bernardino' is the winsome project of local songwriter and Portland, ME transplant, Tica Douglas, and bassist Ryan Dieringer of 'The Powder Kegs.' Douglas' songs have been described as "exuberant and catchy urban folk." At times wordy, always imbued with a wisdom beyond her years, Douglas shows what a former student of religion and literature who spent her childhood on the Maine coast listening to Brian Wilson and Bob Dylan can bring to the table, when she packs up her massive songbag and moves to the big city. Recently returned to the states after a year amassing a fanbase in Edinburgh, Scotland, Tica joins Ryan (of up-and-coming Philadelphia indie rock band, The Powder Kegs) for a string of dates in NYC.
